In most cases, yes. Because the pins grip the whole outline instead of the corners, a rounded or rusted head that a normal socket slips off usually turns. Results depend on how badly the head is damaged and how tight it is.
Yes. Every socket ships with a 3/8" square to 1/4" hex adapter with a ball detent. Clamp the adapter in the chuck, click the socket on and you're ready. It also sits directly on any 3/8" ratchet.
No. ShapeGrip is built for everyday DIY torque on a drill, driver or hand ratchet. Impact guns and wheel lugs on a jacked-up car are outside what the pins are made for.
